What is does
The Booster Shot is designed to enhance your existing purge.
When to use it
When you have a job that you use extra purge to clear your machine, adding Elemintek "Booster Shots" will strengthen your purge for a specific job and is a cheap and easy way to save time and material on long purge cycles.
Technology
The Booster Shot uses the Dynamic Purge Technology as our standard Purge Away product, but it is a different formulation that is designed to work with resin purges.
How to use
Just add a packet (of several) to your hopper along with your existing purge (either resin or pelletized purge). The Booster Shot will activate and distribute within the enclosed barrel and move though the machine with the velocity of the extrudate. The amount you will need to add will vary depending on the type of purge you are using.
The Booster Shot contains friable particles (particles that when they breakdown they reveal new sharp edges) that will help scrape off the layers of accumulated material without damaging the metal components of your equipment.
